Yesterday, the Tehran bureau of Qatar-based Al Araby network was destroyed in an airstrike. At the same time, the Islamic Republic announced it has begun seizing the assets of employees working for Persian-language media outlets based abroad.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deffi.org\/%d8%a2%d8%ba%d8%a7%d8%b2-%d8%af%d9%88%d9%85%db%8c%d9%86-%d9%85%d8%a7%d9%87-%d8%a7%d8%b2-%d9%82%d8%b7%d8%b9-%d8%a7%db%8c%d9%86%d8%aa%d8%b1%d9%86%d8%aa-%d8%af%d8%b1-%d8%a7%db%8c%d8%b1%d8%a7%d9%86%d8%9b\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.deffi.org\/%d8%a2%d8%ba%d8%a7%d8%b2-%d8%af%d9%88%d9%85%db%8c%d9%86-%d9%85%d8%a7%d9%87-%d8%a7%d8%b2-%d9%82%d8%b7%d8%b9-%d8%a7%db%8c%d9%86%d8%aa%d8%b1%d9%86%d8%aa-%d8%af%d8%b1-%d8%a7%db%8c%d8%b1%d8%a7%d9%86%d8%9b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Al Araby network <\/a>published images and video footage confirming that its international media office in Tehran was targeted by the US-Israel coalition. The released images and videos show significant damage to the building housing the bureau. No information has yet been released regarding any harm to the network\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mizan, the official media outlet of Iran\u2019s judiciary, reported that assets belonging to a number of employees of foreign-based media have been identified and seized. Citing the head of the judiciary, the outlet stated that the assets of 20 \u201cexiled\u201d individuals have been confiscated following the opening of legal cases against them. Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Eje\u2019i described the extrajudicial measure as necessary for \u201csecuring the psychological safety of the people and, in particular, cutting the enemy\u2019s American-Zionist espionage chain for gathering intelligence inside the country.\u201d He further warned that judicial and security actions would not be limited to asset seizures, threatening those he labeled as \u201cspies\u201d with execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, NetBlocks, the global internet disruption monitoring organization, reported on Monday, March 30, 2026 that more than 720 hours have passed since the internet blackout in Iran began \u2014 equivalent to 30 full days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran has now entered the 31st day of Israeli and American military strikes. From the very first day of the war, the Islamic Republic imposed a full internet shutdown across the country. Communication networks continue to suffer severe disruptions, with news flow remaining one-sided and controlled exclusively by the Islamic Republic\u2019s state propaganda apparatus. Independent and free journalism has effectively been halted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Filming or photographing damage caused by the war inside Iran, publishing such material on social media, or sending it to foreign media outlets is still considered a criminal offense. Iranian state media continue to broadcast daily forced confessions from citizens accused of sending images and videos of missile impacts or bombing damage to foreign outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Widespread US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran persist as multiple cities across the country have witnessed repeated missile strikes and explosions. Hundreds of military, political, and security centers have been targeted by Israeli and American attacks. Reports also indicate that missiles and bombs have struck several hospitals, schools, and civilian areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent days, Israeli and American strikes have killed dozens of senior Iranian political and military officials \u2014 including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. There have also been reports of Hundreds of civilian deaths, including children, in the attacks on Iran.
