Following this directive, the cases of several citizens who were arrested or sentenced in connection with the &#8220;Women, Life, Freedom&#8221; protests were closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rouhollah Nakhaei is one of the journalists detained in connection with the &#8220;Women, Life, Freedom&#8221; protests. In this case, he was sentenced by Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran to two years for &#8220;assembly and collusion to act against national security,&#8221; and to seven months for &#8220;propaganda against the regime&#8221;. This sentence was later upheld by Branch 36 of the Tehran Court of Appeal.
