She and Motahareh have also ended their strike.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mostafa Nili, Narges Mohammadi&#8217;s lawyer, also confirmed the news of his client&#8217;s medical leave on his X (formerly Twitter) account, stating: &#8220;Due to the forensic medical opinion, the Tehran prosecutor&#8217;s office has suspended the execution of Ms. Narges Mohammadi&#8217;s sentence for three weeks, and she has been released from prison.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, Vida Rabani published an open letter announcing her and Motahareh Gonnei&#8217;s hunger strike, stating that since November 18, 2024, they had been on a hunger strike in protest against the denial of medical care to Narges Mohammadi, a human rights activist, and Vahideh Moradi, a political activist, both imprisoned in Evin Prison.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vida Rabani, a iranian journalist, and Motahareh Gonnei, a student activist, who had been on a hunger strike in protest against the denial of medical services to two fellow inmates, ended their strike after Narges Mohammadi was granted medical leave.
